Cynthia has taught privately and in the public schools. During her tenure at Oak Grove
Elementary School, Cynthia instructed 360 students (2nd and 3rd graders) in piano and music
fundamentals, in classes of 20 students per class. She taught the M.I.N.D music program to these young students. She was able to go further than the M.I.N.D. curriculum and encourage 90 of these students to compose their own pieces for the piano, print out their music on the computer, and perform their work at the end of the school year. From that experience, her reputation grew as a piano and composition teacher for the Beginner & Young Composer in South Orange County.
Cynthia has moved to Washington - teaching at Music & Arts.
